The Jobe/Diesner ticket supports a number of reform, progressive, and leftist causes as a platform for our campaign.
We believe that universal health care is a human right, and that it is tyrannical that people in this country are being forced to live without healthcare due to the nature of capitalism.
We support universal, free tuition to all public colleges and universities. Many lower income individuals are not given the ability to attend universities due to their lack of income and their increasingly high costs.
We support the decriminalization of all drugs and the complete legalization of marijuana. People should not go to prison for victimless crimes. Additionally, people previously convicted of possession-related crimes should be immediately be pardoned.
We support a complete ban on for-profit prisons. For-profit prisons are modern day slavery. For-profit prisons create an artificial need for prisoners.
We support a ban on routine infant circumcision regardless of the assigned sex of the child.
We support legislation to end the wage gap between men and women, and whites and people of color.
We support state funded transitions for transgender and non-binary folx, without the current amount of hoops they must jump through.
We support the addition of at least a third gender option on all federal documents and identification cards or the elimination of gender markers on said documents.
We support open immigration.
If we are forced to live under a capitalist society, income inequality must be ended. We support much higher taxes on higher income "earners".
We support updated comprehensive sex education classes nationwide which would include information about consent.
We support ending the statute of limitations for all sex crimes
We support the notion that clean water is a human right and support legislation that would bring clean water back to Flint.
We support non-interventionist foreign policy and the end of American imperialism.
We support easier ballot access for third-party candidates and automatic voter registration as soon as an individual becomes eligible to be a voter.
We support a voting rights act for the District of Columbia and all U.S. territories
We support marriage privatization. It is not the government's job to regulate marriage.
We believe in man-made climate change and that we must take steps to save our planet, such as investing in renewable energy and banning fossil fuels.
We support ranked-choice voting, also known as instant runoff voting. We dismiss the notion of wasted votes, and by removing America's first-past-the-post system we can dispel the spoiler effect.
